Local Lands is poster show exploring local parks, greenways, rivers and trails.
Saint Louis sits at the confluence of three mighty rivers — the Mississippi, Missouri, and Illinois — at the end of the sprawling Missouri River valley. The rolling hills that cradle our neighborhoods are the transition between the grassy plains and the wooded Ozark Mountains. Forest Park is one of the largest and most beautiful urban parks in the world. Between Gateway Arch National Park in the East to the Katy Trail in the west, our region holds over 600 parks, 130 miles of greenways and over 100 miles of trails. The Local Lands STL Poster Expo celebrates this abundance of public outdoor spaces with posters from 40+ local designers and illustrators.

Boys + Oils is my essential oil instagram account. I wanted to brand it to add personality. There is so much to learn about essential oils and I wanted to be able to create a colorful system paired with a minimal photography aesthetic for sharing all of the information about oils, products, recipes and promotions.
POSTER DESIGN
Type Hike is a collaborative design project including 60 designers and typographers, each created a unique design for a park they love in celebration of the National Parks Service centennial in August 2016. The project is organized by David Rygiol and James Louis Walker.
This series has been exhibited in galleries across the country and added to the permanent collection of the Library of Congress and has been featured on Fast Co, Comm Arts, Dwell, Dribbble and more.

Sunny and Cheer is a baby + kids brand based in California, specializing in reviving vintage found fabrics and re-making them into limited edition goods for hip and happy little people...Living in the Sunshine.

One wooden sandal started it all. Dr. Scholl’s Shoes’ OG founder Dr. William Scholl changed the game with a forever iconic wooden sandal loved by fashion icons since day one. Now the fashion revolution continues with Forever Original, a feel-good collection of modern-meets-vintage styles with all the retro vibes and all the love for the Earth.
This Forever Original lockup was designed to celebrate Dr. Scholl’s Shoes’ 60th anniversary of their iconic original sandal in 2019.

When my little dude turned four, we celebrated at a skate park. For his invitation, I wanted to design a skateboard deck with hand lettering. He was basically the art director...picked out the neon paper and made sure it had bolts on it because he's fast and four! Triplex paper is a showstopper! When making your own, be sure to use a thin layer of book-binding glue between the layers to adhere, worked like a charm.

The purpose of this rebrand was to appeal to the new target consumer, which is a wide age range, from a teenager shopping for her first pump to the mom on the go. Making the script in the identity a little more youthful and easier to read, this custom hand drawn logo conveys movement to reflect the brand’s product attributes.
